London, 30th August 2026

We’re excited to share that we've been selected for the 2026 cohort of the AI and Social Mobility Challenge Prize! πŸŽ‰

The Challenge Prize supports ventures using AI and emerging technology to expand access to education, skills, employment and opportunity for young people across the UK. MyPocketSkill is a firm believer that inclusive AI can be an engine for social mobility - not a system of segregation that rewards only those who already have the most.

Participating in this programme will accelerate our efforts to prove that AI can redistribute opportunity. Culminating with a presentation in the House of Commons in October, this challenge will open up more vital discussions with policy makers, partnerships, employers and financial institutions to scale our platform nationally, ensuring the young people we support can actively shape the AI economy, benefit from it and secure a genuine stake in its future.

Over the coming months, we’ll be working alongside seven other brilliant ventures to strengthen our impact, technology and commercial model, and to widen opportunity in different ways.

The programme is delivered by EY Foundation and Social Tech Trust, in partnership with the Social Mobility Commission, and supported by Microsoft, HSF Kramer, EY, Fieldfisher and LinkedIn.

We are proud to be part of Cohort 2026 and looking forward to what comes next at a time when youth unemployment sadly hits the headlines again.
